| This is my buddy Paul aka "Drumbear." Paul and I first met about two years ago while chatting on AOL. We had been chatting for over three hours and then we decided it was time to exchange pics. When I opened up the email and seen his pic....my jaw dropped to the floor. You see....I had seen Paul at many of the beer busts that "Beach Cities Bears" had hosted at Pistons in Long Beach, CA. Many a times I would want to go over and introduce myself, but I was always too afraid that he would just brush me off. Well when he opened my email and seen my pic; his next IM (Instant Message) to me was something like this: "Do you work at Pistons as the Doorman / Bouncer?" And of course I replied with, "Yes, I do." He and I then continued to chat a bit more, before we both agreed that we needed to meet; and we did.....about two weeks later. Since then, Paul and I have maintained a really good friendship over these past three years and I hope that continues for many more. As you can see from the pics above, he is an avid weightlifter; but he is also a very good musician and awesome artist. His artwork consist of Musclebears, wrestlers, blue-collar men, and some cartoon-like characters. | These two awesome looking guys are our buddies Ben (Left) and Gene (Right). David has known Ben for about three years now and they have become really good friends. Ben and Gene live here in Columbus as well and they are very active within the Bear / Leather communities; plus they both play in the Gay & Lesbian Softball league. If I'm not mistaken, Gene is a former title holder of one of the Bear titles here in Columbus. I am very honored to have these guys as buddies, since they are both genuine and sincere. | Jeff here is a buddy of mine from Dayton, Ohio. He and I first met back in 1998 at IBR (International Bear Rendezvous) in San Francisco, CA; but as luck would have it, he didn't remember me. Well as luck would have it, Jeff and my ex are buddies and I was introduced to him once more. Jeff sure helped me feel at home here in Ohio and he's a caring and wonderful man to get to know. We use to chat online and in person often when I lived in Dayton as well, but as soon as I moved here to Columbus; our chats have become sparse, but hopefully that will change soon. | This is my buddy Gregory aka "CentaurTN" on AOL. I first met him about three years ago, while he was in Southern California for business and also visiting my ex-boss, Tom, from Pistons; I believe the year was 1998. Well as luck would have it, he arrived in town on Long Beach Gay Pride weekend. I first seen him while I was getting ready to ride on the back of Pistons' float as one of the runner-ups for the Pistons leather title that year. I still remember him standing there in his bibs and with no shirt underneath, so you got to see all his fur and chest.....WOOF!!!! Well I got to meet him later when my boss introduced us and that's when our friendship began. I have gone to visit him in Nashville, Tennessee several times; it's been great having him show me around and introduce me to some of his buddies. Gregory is a singer, songwriter, inspirational speaker and spiritual; but that doesn't mean he's a religious fanatic. He is a person that loves to live life to it's fullest extent and is very devoted to his relationship with Bryan (pictured above). I honestly can say that he has helped me get through some rough times and is also helping me get through my mom's death.....Thanks Buddy.
